Knocking-In Service
Our fully automatic knocking machine ensures your cricket bat is evenly conditioned across the blade. We provide 15,000 precision knocks, plus an additional 2,000 concentrated knocks on the toe area, preparing your bat for immediate game play.
Although each bat is heavily pressed during manufacturing for initial ping, machine knocking further softens the wood fibres—enhancing power, boosting performance, reducing vibrations, and extending the bat’s lifespan.
Oiling Treatment
Modern English willow bats are crafted to be light yet thick, but their dryness can make them prone to surface cracks and chipping if not maintained properly. Our oiling process helps:
-
Preserve natural moisture
-
Minimise the risk of cracking from impact or heat exposure
-
Protect against dryness caused by environmental conditions (like leaving the bat in a hot car)
Face Protection Sheet
We apply a high-quality extratec face sheet to shield your bat from:
-
Ball marks and surface wear
-
Water damage
-
Moisture loss from the bat face
This layer adds a clear shield of durability—preserving aesthetics and performance without compromising balance.
